PARADE DAY INFORMATION:

We invite you to participate in the 153rd Annual Weimar Gedenke Parade on Saturday, May 9. The Entry and Disclaimer Information below 

must be submitted no later than Thursday, May 7. All registration submissions are online. Paper documents are no longer accepted.

Categories for judging will include:

• Antique Vehicle
• Educational
• Equestrian
• Class Reunion
• Commercial
• Marching
• Service Organization

The check-in table on the morning of the parade will be located on the north side of the Weimar Veteran’s Hall (503 Park Drive) at the BBQ pits.

At check-in, you will be given an entry number. Find your position in the line up and park with the nose of your vehicle at your number marker.

Judging will occur during the lineup before the start of the parade. *Entries of Elected Officials will not be judged. 

Water Guns are allowed, but please, no water balloons.

Parade Day Timeline:

7:00 - 8:45 - Check-in

Have a representative from your parade entry come to the check-in table to receive your entry number.

9:00 - 10:30 - Judging & Awards

All entries must be complete and in place to be judged.
 

10:45 - Final Placement

Be ready to take off. Have everyone in place and prepared for the parade to begin.

11:00 - Parade Starts

Move along in line as the entry before you moves into the parade route. When you reach Jackson Street, please wait to proceed until the entry in front of you is at 

least a ½ block ahead, and then maintain that spacing during the parade. 

The parade ends at City Hall. Please make arrangements for riders to be picked up at this location.
